In this way, the water can reach the high-pressure nozzle with a certain amount of energy. The diameter of the high-pressure nozzle is much smaller than the diameter of the high-pressure pipeline, so the water reaching the high-pressure nozzle must be accelerated to pass through the nozzle. In this way, the nozzle can convert high-pressure and low-velocity water into low-pressure and high-velocity water.

There are three ways to control the size of the water flow, by increasing or decreasing the inner diameter of the pump head, and by lengthening or shortening the stroke of the plunger. By increasing or slowing down the reciprocating speed of the plunger. Most high-pressure cleaners use a set of valves and pump heads to form a system. The plunger pulls water into the inlet valve and pressurizes it to pass through the outlet valve. The valve controls the flow of water through the pump by preventing backflow. The valve is composed of a spring and a bracket, and the pressure operation is completed due to the different pressure difference on both sides of the valve. When the pressure acting on the valve is greater than the capacity of the spring, the valve opens. In the opposite stroke, the water will automatically squeeze the bracket onto the valve seat, keeping the valve closed and preventing backflow.
